OraGuard brought together a smart door lock, 360-degree camera, secure hub, encrypted feeds, remote access, diagnostics, and household controls and access.
The app had to make all of this feel simple.
It needed to help users onboard devices, check home status, manage access, respond to visitors, review activity, and
understand alerts without feeling overwhelmed.

The use cases shaped the app structure.
For visitors, the app needed clear access history and entry control.
For deliveries, it needed live view, temporary unlock, and auto-lock confidence.
For night activity, it needed instant alerts, camera context, and event records.
For pets and elderly family members, it needed monitoring that felt supportive, not invasive.
For privacy, the secure hub and protected feeds had to feel trustworthy without becoming technically heavy.
These scenarios helped define what the app had to prioritize: quick status, guided action, traceable history, and a calm visual tone.
The product had many capabilities, but the interface could not expose them all at once. It had to reveal the right control at the right moment.

After multiple explorations, the strongest route used minimal layouts, bold typography, and line-based illustration. This kept the app clean and confident while giving security moments a softer, more human quality.
The line illustrations helped explain scenarios without adding visual noise. The typography gave the interface authority. The restrained layouts kept attention on status, action, and reassurance.
