Research & Audit
What I did
Heuristic Evaluation
Identified issues like clutter, lack of feedback, poor consistency.

Redesign Brief & Competitor Analysis
Analyzed 3–5 peer pharma/chemical sites to see how they highlight certifications, facilities, and products.

Branding Options & Moodboards
Presented 3 branding directions. Client chose Dynamic & Bold: strong blues, bold typography, geometric visuals.

Key Insights
Credibility signals must appear immediately
Buyers expect visible, repeated contact options
Predictable layouts outperform expressive ones

Design Direction
Visibility of legitimacy
Predictable navigation
Clear, repeated contact entry points
Design Risk
In chemical procurement, lack of clarity is interpreted as lack of credibility.
The website had to remove doubt before asking for action.
Design Process
Design Principles
Trust precedes exploration
Simplicity over novelty
Redundancy reduces friction
Information Architecture Decisions
Certifications and company information elevated in hierarchy
Product structure simplified for quick scanning
Contact access placed consistently across pages
Every decision reduced cognitive effort for high-stakes users.

Wireframing Focus
Reduce decision depth
Flatten navigation
Anchor trust elements above the fold
Wireframes were evaluated against one question:
“Can a buyer verify legitimacy within seconds?”

Visual Design System

This project was fully executed, not just designed. Used Gemini and Cursor to develop the website. This validated the design against real operational use, not hypothetical flows.

What I Learned:
How to balance compliance-driven trust cues with bold visual branding.
The importance of clear microcopy in conversion-focused sites.
Using Cursor AI tools sped up development, but required strong design documentation.
