EcoWay was born from our shared concern for the environment and a drive to combat global warming. Noticing the growing impact of travel on carbon emissions, we set out to promote eco-friendly transportation choices in everyday commutes.
This idea took shape at BRICKHack X, a 24-hour hackathon at Rochester Institute of Technology, NY. Collaborating with three talented friends, we built a solution to simplify sustainable travel decisions.
EcoWay was born out of our shared anxiety about the environment and an aspiration to tackle the urgent problem of global warming. Seeing the escalating consequences of travel on carbon output and atmospheric cleanliness, we were inspired to devise a method that endorses eco-friendly transport alternatives, and urges people to choose environmentally responsible options in their everyday journey.
This innovative project emerged from BRICKHack X, a dynamic hackathon hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology, NY. Over a high-pressure 24-hour period, I collaborated with three talented friends to bring our vision to life. Together, we crafted a solution designed to revolutionize transaction management, driven by our passion for efficiency and teamwork, and were honored to win the title of "Best Sustainable Hack" at the event.
